Hinterstoder has been hosting FIS World Cup races since 1986 - and as a true alpine fan, you are right in the middle of it all! The gondola lift takes you from the village center directly up to the Hutterer Boden and on to the Hoss at 2,000 m above sea level. Pistes of all levels of difficulty await enthusiastic skiers and snowboarders, while the Hannes Tinkl World Cup route invites downhillers to put their skills to the test.

Hinterstoder, Upper Austria's only World Cup ski area, is the perfect destination for a skiing vacation for all those who love upscale skiing fun. Surrounded by the impressive mountain giants of the Totes Gebirge, the ski area with its panoramic pistes and magnificent views reaches up to 2,000 meters above sea level and thus offers winter sports enthusiasts a particularly high degree of snow reliability on 40 varied kilometers of pistes.

The Hannes Trinkl World Champion course with a length of 3,500 meters, a maximum gradient of 60 percent and a width of up to 80 meters also offers a real challenge for the top athletes of international skiing, which also evokes a World Cup feeling for amateur athletes. Other highlights include the Inferno slope with a gradient of up to 70%, the SNOWtrail with wave track and steep turns, a speed track and a permanent race track with timekeeping.
